Key Features

  • Continuously variable autotransformers of suitable capacity.
  • Output DC H.V. is measured using a properly designed resistor chain along with an analog micro-ammeter.
  • Analog milli ammeter along with press-to-read push button switch for measurement of leakage current.
  • Mains 'ON' - 'OFF' Switch & H.T. 'ON' 'OFF' push button switch incorporated. -
  • Automatic tripping mechanism for protecting the H.V. transformer against overloading.
  • This tripping device is incorporated both on the L.T. side & H.T. side.
  • This tripping device senses the leakage current to be higher than the preset value (1mA or 10mA) & trips the entire H.T. Circuit.
  • Zero start interlocking will be provided to ensure that the H.V. Circuit cannot be energized unless the voltage regulator is first returned to the Zero position.
  • Lamp to indicate L.T. ON.
  • Lamp to indicate H.T. ON.

 

What's in the box?

  • A H.V. bushing with an inside surge suppressor device.
  • A discharge rod will be provided with the set.
  • All the above components of the HV unit are housed and wired in highly finished nicely painted sturdy sheet metal cabinets with proper insulation.
